HP plans to operate a 20,000-square-meter facility in Chongqing, where it will make notebook and desktop PCs for customers in China.
MediaG3, Inc. (OTCBB: MDGC), a developer for broadband wireless product and content delivery applications, today announced that its China pilot project has been approved by China Ministry of Commerce. According to the company, this pilot project is the first step towards implementation of mg3 wireless broadband applications to service over 900 million people in the interior and rural regions of China. It is estimated that an average of $225,000 worth of MediaG3’s system and equipment is required to service 10,000 subscribers.

Dolby Laboratories, Inc. (NYSE:DLB) today announced the Company's financial results for its third quarter of fiscal 2008.
For the third quarter, Dolby reported total revenue of $154.3 million, compared to $119.6 million for the third quarter of fiscal 2007, an increase of 29 percent. Third quarter net income was $46.4 million, or $0.40 per diluted share, compared to $29.7 million, or $0.26 per diluted share, for the third quarter of fiscal 2007.

Lenovo has announced the launch of the IdeaCentre K210 desktop, marking the company’s entry into the consumer desktop market outside of China.
