Taobao.com Forms Marketing Partnership with McDonald’s Restaurants
McDonald’s China announced yesterday that it has launched a marketing channel on Taobao.com, China’s top online marketplace. The site will provide consumers coupons of McDonald’s food and other promotional material. McDonald’s will give out Taobao coupons to diners in its over 800 restaurants in China. “The development of online shopping cannot be separated from partnerships with the traditional markets.
