Atari, SA, and developer Cryptic Studios announced the new PC MMO, Star Trek Online available today in North America and throughout the week in worldwide territories. Already, over 1 million Star Trek fans have created accounts at the official websites.

Changyou.com (Nasdaq: CYOU), an online game developer and operator in China, announced that Mr. Dewen Chen, Changyou's chief operating officer, has been promoted to president, a role he will serve in addition to his duties as chief operating officer. 

Vivox which provides voice services for online games, virtual worlds and the social web, announced that it has secured $6.8 million from a third round of equity financing led by IDG Ventures with follow-on investment from Benchmark Capital, Canaan Partners and GrandBanks Capital.
